Merry Christmas Libby! Love, Emma

This year I had the opportunity to serve Libby. When I was thinking about how I could serve her I

thought about her friends. Libby has many really good friends that she loves a lot. She is such a

great friend to them and cares about them and their needs. This year I had the opportunity to serve

one of my friends and become closer to her.

My friend Juliette made it known to us that she didn’t feel loved and she didn’t feel like she was

worth anything. My friends and I were really worried about her and we wanted to make her feel like

we loved her. My friend Haley came up with the idea that we should make a book for her with

pictures and notes from each of us, telling her how much we loved her. I was in charge of the

calligraphy for the book and I spent hours trying to make it look amazing. I collected the notes and I

went home with Haley to help her put the book together. I didn’t spend too much time working on

that book but the hours I spent worrying about her and feeling Christ’s love for her made up for it. I

truly felt Christ’s love for her as I got to know her and as I served her.

I am so grateful that I was able to serve Libby this year and I was able to become a better friend. I

love Libby so much and I’m so glad that I was able to find the love of Christ for others as I served

her. I know that Christ loves all of us and He cares about each of us individually. I know that I can be

an instrument in His hands as I serve his children.

I love you so much Libby and I’m so grateful that you are one of my very best friends!
